School-to-Work

School-to-Work is an initiative that builds collaborations among educators, businesses and the community to help students attain the knowledge and experience necessary for employment.

The MSEC School-to-Work Internship program was established to present students with independent community-based vocational experiences utilizing built-in natural supports. Student schedules are flexible, with a range of 3-6 hours perday, 2-5 days per week. Through on the job training, students develop specialized trade skills and independent life management skills.
