The Home/School Facilitation Program



The Home/School Facilitation Program offers comprehensivesupport, education and encouragement to families ofchildren with special needs. While the program’s emphasis ison implementing and modeling the child’s individual educationalcurriculum at home, the program also helps familiescope with issues specific to home life. The Home/SchoolFacilitation Program supplies a vital communication linkbetween the school program and home.

The Home/School Facilitator is a member of the child’seducational team and visits the student within the classroom,according to the student’s IEP. The Facilitator works closelywith the school team in assisting the family as well as worksclosely with the parent and child within the home.
